CHOOSE TO LIVE THE BLESSED LIFE

The Lord God spoke to the children of Israel through the prophet Moses and said, “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both you and your seed may live (Deuteronomy 30:19).

In order for a believer to truly live the blessed and victorious Christian life he must first, choose to be blessed, and then appropriate or authorize God’s promise of blessing in their life on a daily basis.
When God made Adam in his likeness and image he also gave him dominion over all the earth, which means He gave man earth as his domain to rule and reign. He then blessed Adam and instructed him to be fruitful, multiply, replenish and subdue the earth. Generations had passed and then God called Abraham from the heathen land of the Ur of the Chaldees and informed him to leave his country, family and father’s house. God then stamped Abraham with the same blessing upon Adam and said “I will bless them that bless you, and curse him that curse you: and in you shall all the families of the earth be blessed.”

What does this have to do with us? We all know the first Adam failed in his original assignment but the last Adam (Christ Jesus) didn’t. Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God and Lion of the tribe of Judah overcame satan, death, hell and the grave and gave us the right to be children of Abraham and sons and daughters of the Most High God.

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond or free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye are Christ’s then are ye Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise (Galatians 3:26-29).
The same blessing and promise God gave to Adam and Abraham he has given to you and me. You and I are blessed to be a blessing! Every day appropriate that blessing upon your life sand claim your victory in every area of your life. Healing, deliverance, safety, and provision are all yours in Christ Jesus. Put the word of God in your heart and speak it out of your mouth. Build your life upon the foundation of the word of God, keep the door of unforgiveness and other works of the flesh closed to the enemy, and keep a praise of thanksgiving and adoration on your lips, for what God has spoken will come to pass.

God has given us keys to the kingdom of heaven and whatsoever you bind on earth is bound in heaven and whatsoever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Don’t just take what the enemy dishes out to you, stand on the promises of God and fight on and receive the blessed life God has for you and toward others he has paced in your pathway.

LET US RISE AND BUILD

Psalms 127:1 says Except the Lord builds the house they labor in van that build it.God Almighty, our heavenly Father, through, the power, the presence and the wisdom of the Holy Ghost wants to build His church.  We are in a distinct day where God is raising up apostolic (sent) ministries to build the body of Christ and prepare it for Kingdom dominion. As Kingdom minded people, we must construct our lives, the lives of our families, churches and businesses upon the unadulterated word of God and bring full expression of our faith to the world at large.

As the bride of Christ, we must also position ourselves to build the church of the Lord Jesus Christ, without human logic or reasoning, manipulation or showmanship, but with a fresh word from God enveloped in a new wineskin of faith, power, and obedience. God is raising us up as sons and daughters of the King, who are not concerned about positions and titles but about service and leadership. In other words, it’s about getting the job done period, for our King, Savior, and Lord!

Isaiah 60:1-4 says, “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall rise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. Lift up thine eyes round about and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons and daughters shall be nursed at thy side.

Oh yes, God’s glory IS being evident within the lives of true believers, as never before. Get ready my brothers and sisters and position yourselves, because an abundance of ministry is about to take place in the earth. In your home, on your job, in your business, on the street corner and at your neighborhood Wal-Mart people are going to be running to the light of the glory of God that is upon you. So manifest God’s glory and heal the sick, give sight to the blind, deliver the captives and raise the dead.

What I just described is the anointing, that that destroys EVERY yoke and removes every burden (Isaiah 61:1, 2). Brothers and sisters in Christ, almost twenty years ago God spoke to me about this day and hour. Prevailing Word and members of Christ’s body, I am so excited because I know Isaiah 61:4-6 is about to completed in our lives. It reads as thus, “And they shall BUILD the old waste, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste CITIES, the desolations of many GENERATIONS. And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks and the sons of the alien, shall be your plowman and your vinedressers. But ye shall be named the Priests of the Lord: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and their glory shall ye boat yourselves.

I like also what Isaiah 58:12 says, “And they that be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, the repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in. Wow, that is so powerful!!

Yes, it’s time to build the city of God called NEW CASTLE and surrounding cities or wherever you’re from who may be reading this. We are going to see God’s glory manifest right before our eyes; from India to Africa, Australia to South America, from Canada to China, the message of the Kingdom will be preached and manifested for all to see and behold (read Isaiah 40) Glory be to GOD!!

As I close, let me encourage you further, builder of God’s people, and nations, by interjecting Nehemiah in our lesson today. This great man of God had a burden and a call from God to rebuild the torn down walls of Jerusalem. He sensed God’s grace upon him to accomplish this monumental task of rebuilding the wall. As did Nehemiah, so must we, as Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Evangelist and Teachers, cast a vision to our people of what we KNOW God wants done. Nehemiah said, “Let us rise up and build,” and the people not only echoed the same declaration, but rebuilt the wall in an amazing, fifty – two (52) days.

Opposition came to Nehemiah and his workers and they will show up in your life too. Stay focused man and woman of God and let no devil from hell keep you from God’s assignment on this earth.

“AND IT SHALL BE”!!!!! THUS SAITH THE LORD.

Go in Peace!

Our Position As Believers In Christ

As believers in Christ we have an awesome responsibility to live in such a way that our light shines in the midst of a wicked and corrupt generation. The Lord is not willing for any person to perish but that all men and women would repent of their sins and make Jesus the Savior and Lord of their lives.

Victorious Christian living does not come from will power, positive thinking, or saying a few affirmations to encourage ourselves. It comes by being fully yielded to the Holy Spirit present within us and by knowing our position in Christ as a believer. By knowing who we are in Christ affords us the wonderful opportunity to experience growth, maturity and the ability to manifest the power of God in our lives. If our present condition doesn’t line up with our stated position in Christ, then that only means that we can, and should, continue to progress and advance in the things of God.

Animal sacrifices, sin offerings and burnt offerings for sin did not please our heavenly Father, so Jesus came into the world to do the will of the Father by sacrificing his life on the cross for our sins. And by that one sacrifice he has sanctified and perfected us forever (Hebrews 10:6-10). That’s right child of God, our present position in Christ is that we are sanctified (set apart as God’s special possession) and perfected or complete, forever.

I have more wonderful news for you from the word of God. In the book of Colossians it says that God, “has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins” (Colossians 1:13, 14 NIV). That verse is past tense my beloved brethren, we are not the victim, but the victor; not the conquered but the conqueror and not the overcome, but the overcomer! We are and have everything the word says we do, right NOW. That is our position in Christ. We need to stop making excuses for ourselves and bowing down to the beggarly elements of this world; living moment by moment in our present emotional, psychological or physiological state.

The apostle Paul continues to elaborate on our present position in Christ when he states, “Blessed be God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ; according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love” (Ephesians 1:3, 4 KJV). There’s more……. “But God is so rich in his mercy and he loved us so much that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:4-6 NLT).

Brothers and sister, we are no longer slaves in bondage to our own sin. We are now members of God’s royal family, positioned in Christ to assist in making Christ’s enemies his footstool, and establishing God’s Kingdom upon the earth. We must rise up in this day and hour and take our rightful place; decreeing, proclaiming, teaching, preaching and manifesting God’s presence in the earth until our King comes.

In His Service,

Apostle David M Young Sr.

In the historic book of Joshua, Joshua reminds the children of Israel in his concluding discourse of just how far the LORD had brought them. At one time, the Father of their faith and ours, Abraham, served other gods. Having brought Abraham out of bondage, the Lord blessed him and gave him Isaac and then Jacob who eventually landed in Egypt. After many years the children of Israel were put in bondage in Egypt, however God rescued them and set them on a journey towards the Promised Land. Ultimately God gave them the land they did not work for, cities they did not build, vineyards and olive gardens they did not plant (Joshua 24:13).

As Joshua continued, he then presents God’s people with a word of caution and an ultimatum. First, the word of caution: “Now therefore fear the Lord and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood and in Egypt: and serve ye the Lord” (Joshua 24:14). Here is his ultimatum: “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15).

As an Apostle and minister of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ I must make the same admonishment and ultimatum to God’s people worldwide. It is time for us to put away the “gods” of greed, corruption, selfishness, competition, jealousy, envy and lust.
As citizens of the Kingdom of God we are called to shine our light in a dark and cruel world. If our light is dim, we will not be able to effectively fulfill our mandate from heaven to reach the lost and dying. However, there is a remnant of believers in the earth who will fulfill the Father’s calling to “Arise and Shine!’ Are you a part of that remnant?

Listen man and woman of God the scriptures succinctly informs us, “Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world – the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does – comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever (1 John 2:15-17 NIV). As a citizen of the kingdom of God our mindset should be to do the will of the Father. It may bring upon us persecution or put a target on our back, but so be it! Our goal is to please the one who called us and saved us for His Holy work. We already know that the one who lives godly shall suffer persecution and through much tribulation do we enter the kingdom. Nothing and no one can stop us from fulfilling our God-given assignment. No one! We have been called and chosen by God before the foundation of the world to be holy and without blame before him in love. Glory to God!!

Make no mistake, the Lord will return to earth from heaven with his mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God and those that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ ! (1 Thessalonians 1:7, 8).

Many do not like to hear and read this truth, but it must be said.
